The plain-English framework for taking part in Sponsor My Van.
The project
Sponsor My Van is an independent project to fund, purchase and brand a real camper-style van. The project does not promise any specific number of impressions, clicks, leads or financial return.
Reservations and approval
A reservation is a request for one numbered placement on the van. Every sponsor, website and artwork is subject to approval. Sponsor My Van may reject illegal, deceptive, hateful, adult, unsuitable gambling, political campaign, counterfeit or otherwise inappropriate material.
Pricing and payment
Each placement has a fixed published price. A 20% deposit secures the placement while the sponsor and artwork are reviewed; the remaining balance is due after approval and before production. Deposits are refunded when Sponsor My Van rejects a sponsor or cannot honour the placement.
Temporary holds
An unpaid checkout holds a placement for approximately 31 minutes. If payment is not completed within that window, the hold expires automatically and the placement becomes available again.
Placement and licence
Sponsors grant a limited licence to resize and reproduce their submitted logo for the website, project updates and physical van branding. Sponsor My Van controls final proportional sizing and positioning to protect visual quality and road legality.
Duration and damage
The initial placement term is at least 12 months after installation. Reasonable efforts will be made to replace branding damaged in an accident, by wear or during maintenance, but uninterrupted display cannot be guaranteed.
If the goal is not reached
The project owner will either purchase a lower-cost suitable vehicle while maintaining sponsor commitments, or refund completed sponsor payments. The chosen route will be communicated publicly.
Force majeure
Travel, production and installation dates may move because of events outside reasonable control. Material changes will be documented transparently.
